How It Started
Greenwich Handyman didn’t start with a business plan. It started with a truck, a small crew, and a reputation built one job at a time in the neighborhoods around Greenwich, Connecticut. That was 2005. The clients who called then are still calling now. Their homes have changed. Their needs have shifted from small repairs to full renovations to someone they trust enough to hand over the keys when they travel. Through all of it, the team stayed the same.
Over time, those clients started asking for more. Can you handle the electrical work? Do you do full renovations? Is there a way to just have one person manage everything so I don't have to think about it? GH Co. is the organized answer to two decades of those conversations. It didn't come from a growth strategy. It came from clients who trusted us, kept asking for mor, and a team that knew it could deliver.

One standard, every capability a home needs: handyman and repair, design and build, electrical, plumbing, heating and cooling, kitchen and bath, outdoor living, and a concierge model for clients who want someone else to manage the whole thing.
Eight divisions. One name. The same people, the same accountability, in every market we work in. Not a franchise. Not a call center. A team that builds relationships and stays in them.
The divisions don’t operate in silos. Greenwich Handyman jobs surface electrical needs that go to GH Electric. Renovation projects grow into concierge relationships. A seasonal maintenance visit uncovers a plumbing issue that gets handled before it becomes an emergency. The whole company is designed so that once a client finds us, they never need to look anywhere else.

GH Co. is run by people who have been doing this work in these neighborhoods for years. Every location has a managing partner, a real person with a name, a face, and direct accountability for the work that goes out under the GH Co. name. When you call, you reach someone who knows your market, knows these homes, and is responsible for what happens next. This is not a company where the owner is three steps removed from the job site.

Where We’re Going.
GH Co. is expanding into new markets with the same model that built Greenwich Handyman: hire the right people, set the standard from day one, and build the kind of relationships that last a decade or more. New locations don’t launch until a managing partner is in place and the core team is ready. We’d rather open slowly and do it right than move fast and compromise what the name stands for.
New markets carry the GH Handyman name rather than Greenwich Handyman with same model and standard in new territory. The brand travels. The character stays the same.
